Dr Saleem Khoyratty

Dr Saleem Khoyratty completed his medical degree at the University of Cambridge and University College London. He undertook his specialist anaesthetic training across the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Australia, gaining broad experience at leading institutions before completing his fellowships at The Alfred, The Austin, and Monash hospitals in Melbourne. He holds dual fellowships with both the Royal College of Anaesthetists (UK) and the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, having been recognised as a specialist anaesthetist since 2020. He currently holds a consultant post at The Alfred Hospital.

Dr Khoyratty has particular clinical interests in anaesthesia for orthopaedic, plastic, and ophthalmic surgery. He also has a strong commitment to perioperative medicine, having completed a Masters in Perioperative Medicine at Monash University and obtained the Graduate Chapter in Perioperative Medicine through ANZCA. He is an active member of the perioperative medicine service at The Alfred, contributing to the care of patients before and after surgery.

Outside of medicine, Saleem is an enthusiastic golfer and enjoys spending time with his two English Cocker Spaniels, Cheddar and Halloumi.
